It's nice to meet you!

Here's a little about me.

About Me

I am overjoyed that you are here. Let me start off by introducing myself. My full name is Robbie Elizabeth Calk, after my grandmother. I am an avid concert goer and have played piano for the majority of my life. It provides an escape like reading does for most. When I am not swamped with school, just like most college students, I enjoy relaxing and cooking with friends and family.

Originally, I am from Troy, Alabama. It was the only place I have lived before moving to Auburn, and I went to the same school from kindergarten to 12th grade.

One would think this situation would be frustrating, but that was not the case. Living in Troy and going to the same school taught me the importance of community and close relationships with peers and adults, which is something that Auburn uniquely cherishes.

I plan on graduating from Auburn University next spring, May 2018, with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in marketing.

So far, my professional experience in public relations through internships has given me insight into the career path I will choose upon graduation. I have worked with a U.S. Congressman, on a U.S. Senate campaign and with the Pike County Chamber of Commerce. To continue broadening my experience and venturing outside of politics, I look forward to interning with a public relations and marketing firm this summer. I am excited for what is in store for my career.

Before I continue rambling, let me stop here and encourage you to continue looking around my website and learn more about me as each page goes into more detail.

With Love, Robbie
